Hi,
I'm Patrick. I've been lurking for a while, figure I should introduce myself. I'm not exactly sure what else to add to my introduction, and coupled with the fact that I'm generally somewhat reserved/private, I think the only thing I have to say at this point is "hello"!
I discovered SSB while poking around at the other decentralized/federated social networks. I was immediately impressed by the fact that the protocol description was forefront. Most of the other options in this space seem more "run this code" vs "implement this protocol"; I'd much rather have a well designed protocol as a starting point. The more I dug into the design of SSB, the more impressed I was (and still am).
I'm looking forward to learning more about SSB, and of course using it more too!
